January 19 More Pictures & LifeWell, as you can tell from my headline I am doing more pictures. I have SMS scheduled for Jan. 26th, Jackson City for Feb. 2nd, & Rousseau for Feb. 5th. I haven't rescheduled with Breathitt. Now that my schedule is so full I really can't for Valentine's Day pictures. Maybe I will try them again later in the beginning of Spring. I could do pictures outside then. Other than that life has been good. I have decided that I am going to start taking online classes in summer toward an associates degree in Dental Hygiene. I have to take online classes until Daniel gets out of school, which will be Spring of 2008. He was going to be done this year, but UK added more class requirement to his degree. The reason I am choosing Dental Hygiene is because the average start off pay in Lexington, KY is about $60,000 a year. Here is the link if you don't believe me:http://swz.salary.com/salarywizard/layoutscripts/swzl_compresult.asp?narrowcode=HC02&jobcode=HC07000037&metrocode=93& metro=Lexington&state=Kentucky&geo=Lexington,%20Kentucky&jobtitle=Dental%20Hygienist&narrowdesc=Healthcare%20--%20Technicians That's pretty darn good for an associates degree. I already have 10 credit hours that I can put towards my degree from Lees. I already have my English 101 &102 done & I took Art, which counts as a humanities toward my degree. I am going to take online classes through LCC here in Lexington, then after Daniel graduates I will probably either work at the bank part time so I can go to class 2 or 3 days a week, or maybe I'll just quit the bank & go to school full time. I can take about 11 classes online at LCC, I can probably find more from other schools that I could transfer over, but that should keep me busy until Daniel can graduate & find a job. Plus I have plenty of time at work to work on online classes. I still like working for the bank, but I really just want to go to school & make more money. Plus most Dental Hygienist work really great hours. From the jobs I've seen in KY, you are off weekends & at certain places even Fridays. The hours are great, they close at like 4:00. Basically what you do is clean teeth & diagnose gum diseases. You can work for a dentist, a clinic, or even teach other dental hygiene students. In most cities you always see the dental hygienist first, then the only time you will see the dentist is if you require to have more than just a cleaning done. So now you know all about dental hygiene. I guess I will wrap this blog up since it is getting longer & longer. See ya!
