    Spring Break 2007

Daniel & I have been back from our trip for a couple of days & I am just now getting around to blogging about it & putting up a slide show under my picture section so all you guys can go take a look. We had a really awesome time. It was our fourth cabin we have stayed in now. I just don't think we will ever get tired of going down to Tennessee & renting a cabin. The cabins are always so nice & cute & we always find something new & fun to do. We always have such a blast. This time when we went down we played mini golf at Ripley's Old MacDonald's Farm, which we always do. We also played mini golf at Treehouse golf, which was our second time playing there. We went in Wonder Works, which is in an upside down house. Wonder Works was really fun. They had rides inside, all kinds of cool facts, simulation games, rock climbing, I could go on for days. We were in there for like four hours. It is by far one of the coolest places we've ever been. I recommend it to everyone. It's pretty expensive ($20.00 per person), but it's totally worth every penny. We drove out to a petting zoo and saw horses, ponies, deer, goats, & a camel. We drove over from Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg twice. Once while we were there we bought some really delicious fudge. We really ate like pigs the whole time we were there. We ate ribs twice at Corky's, we ate at O' Charley's, TGI Fridays, and at a couple fast food places. Daniel grilled hamburgers two different days & got up early and fixed us a big huge pancake & sausage breakfast two different mornings. He was the cook this time. The only thing I made was brownies. It was nice not having to be chef & getting served really good food. Before we left we did a photo shoot for a wedding, which went really well. I actually just got done working on the pictures today. We also did Spring pictures for SMS & Rousseau before we left & we already have those pictures in to be sorted, packaged, & delivered. We are really fast when it comes to our pictures. We don't like to make people wait & Daniel & I both like to get things done. We have Spring pictures for Jackson City coming up on Friday, March 30th. Right now Daniel is in the process of trying to take on an internship this Summer. I hope he gets one, but if not then he can just continue working part-time at the student center. That's really all the news for now. Until next time.

Blog written on March 5th before our trip!

I am counting down the days until we leave for our Spring break trip to Tennessee! We have 8 days left! I am so ready to get away from Lexington and just go have a nice getaway with Daniel. I know he is ready for a break also. He has been working so hard lately with all of his classes. He is getting a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and he has to write 3-4 computer programs a week. He is constantly working on his school work. After this semester he won't have it as hard anymore. He will graduate after he finishes the Spring semester of 2008. I can't wait because that means we can start looking for a house. He is going to try to get an internship this summer and hopefully if it is a good place to work they will just hire him on when he gets his degree. Our land lord called just the other day and asked us how long we wanted him to make our lease out for, we decided until July of next year, that way Daniel will have 2 months to look for a job after graduation, which also means we will probably start looking for our house at the end or this year or beginning of next year. I can't believe how far we have made it. I remember when I met Daniel in 2004 he was finishing his degree to be an electrician and then after he graduated he found a job. He wasn't really satisfied with what he had chosen, so he went back to school in Spring of 2005 and I remember thinking how it seemed like forever away until he would graduate and now graduation is right around the corner. He said he wanted to do something with his life that he would actually like doing and that when he met me he knew I was the one who he would marry and wanted to provide for the family he knew he'd have. He said in the past he never saw his self getting married and didn't think that he would ever want a family, but then I came along and well here we are, happily married. I knew he was the one for me also, even when I was a Freshmen in high school and just saw him visiting up at Jackson City, I always knew someday he'd be all mine. Then 3 years later, when I was a Senior we talked online and well the rest is history or you can read about it in another blog lol. To move on to another subject, we are doing wedding pictures this coming weekend on Saturday, March 10th at Workers Pentecostal Church located at Clayhole at 1:00 p.m. for William Gabbard and his bride to be Jami Neace. We are really excited about that. People are starting to hear about our photography business and it is continuing to grow. We also still have 3 schools coming up for Spring pictures. We are doing 2 of them before we leave for Tennessee. We are doing SMS on Monday, March 12th and Rousseau on March 13th, then we are leaving for Pigeon Forge that evening. We don't do Jackson City until March 30th. We are getting ready to be really busy. Well, I am going to end this blog and you guys probably won't hear from me until I get back from Tennessee! Take care.

    Valentine's Day & More

Hello everyone! I was off work for President's Day on Monday & as we all know banks always close for every holiday. I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day last week.  I know I sure did. Daniel brought me flowers at work & they were by far the prettiest flowers I have ever recieved from anyone.  I got off work at 12:30 and came home and baked Daniel a cake.  He said my cake was very good & I believe it because he ate it up like nobody's business.  Daniel also bought me a beautiful necklace for V-Day. You can see a picture of it under my pics or on my slideshow under my About Me section.  We went out & ate at TGI Friday's as soon as Daniel got home at 2:00.  Their food was extra good that day.  That night we settled down to a movie & well the rest you don't need to know lol.  That pretty much sums up V-Day.  Daniel & I have decided to go to Tennessee and stay in a cabin for his Spring break, which we have done a million times now, but we love to go & we always have a blast.  We thought about going to Florida again, but we decided that we didn't want to drive that far.  Maybe we will go to Florida this summer.  Here is a link if you would like to look at the cabin we will be staying in: http://patriotgetaways.com/propdetails/1-361.html.  I have rescheduled the 3 schools that got cancelled due to snow for Spring pictures.  I am doing SMS on March 12th, Rousseau on March 13th, & Jackson City on March 30th.  After we get done with Rousseau we will be leaving that Tuesday evening for Tenn. to go stay in our cabin that we rented till Sunday March 18th.  I can't wait till we are relaxing in our hot tub at the cabin.  Well, that's about it for now.  Sorry to make it so short, but I have better things to do ;)

    Let It Snow!

Well, it's been snowing a lot lately and it has caused me some problems.  Due to snow, I have to reschedule 2 schools, possibly 3 depending on the weather this Friday.  I was supposed to do pictures for Jackson City last Friday, Feb. 2nd & for Rousseau on Mon., Feb 5th, but thanks to the snow that didn't happen.  I am going to do Spring pictures for those schools now because Valentine's Day is almost here.  I am suppose to do SMS this Friday, Feb. 9th, but there is a possibility that it might get cancelled also.  I just put up a new slide show.  It has pictures of the snow, my family, my dogs, my paintings and just a bunch of random things.  I am looking forward to Valentine's Day.  I can't wait to see what I get from Daniel, I know it will be great!  We get to spend the whole day together.  I am leaving work at 12:30 & Daniel will get home from school at 2:00, so we will get to spend plenty of time together on Valentine's Day.  Daniel & I are currently trying to decide where we are going to go on his Spring vacation in March.  We were thinking Florida, but we have been so many times now & it's such a long drive.  We are now thinking of going to Tennessee and staying in a cabin again, which we have also done a million times now, but at least it's a short drive.  It's getting late, so I guess I will go get in the bed with Daniel.  I will probably have more pictures up soon of Valentine's Day.  Take care!

    Once upon a time...

Once upon a time their was this girl who had been in a really up & down relationship for over a year & she could see that her future with him looked unhappy & dull. She gave the young balding man a warning that something had better change or she was going to leave him. The young balding man thought this was just a joke & continued to do the same crappy things he had always done.

One day the girl was online & happened to see a post on a message board from a very handsome young man who she had seen occasionally up at her high school. In fact she had just seen him a few days before & they had made eye contact, but she had never actually spoken to him. The girl decided to post something back to the young man. She told him that she had always admired him & thought he was very talented & had never had the courage to approach him & talk to him. The young man then gave the girl his email address & they began to email one another & started talking on messenger.

They flirted online for about a week, and then the very handsome young man asked if she would call him that night because he wanted to talk to her in person. At first she was hesitant because she did have a boyfriend & didn't know if that would be going too far. The girl decided what the heck & called the young man. When the girl called, his voice mail came on immediately, she left him a message letting him know she called & to call her back. A few minutes later she got a phone call, it was the young man. They talked all night laughing & getting to know one another.

The girl & young man kept talking on the phone everyday for a week or so & when the girl was with her boyfriend all she could do was think about the young man. The girl's boyfriend had even put the handsome young man down in the past for his talents, but it was only because the balding young man was jealous that the handsome young man had more talent than him. The girl's boyfriend took her with him to a band practice one day & the long haired drummer brought up the handsome young man & they were saying some untrue things about him & the girl felt angry inside & wanted to take up for him & tell the drummer & the others that they were just jealous because they had always lost competitions to him, not because he had some type of connection to the judges, but because he was so much better than them, but the girl had to stay silent or she might get questioned.

The girl's birthday was coming up very soon & the handsome young man was going to be playing a show that night & wanted her to come very badly. The girl wanted to go, but she would be with her boyfriend that day, but she had been thinking very hard about a lot of things. On the day of the girl's birthday she decided to tell her boyfriend that she had been talking to someone else, he really didn't take it that badly, in fact he told her that they could even take a break & she could pursue the young man & then in a week decide who she wanted to be with. The girl was very upset, but at the same time happy because things went so well. The girl didn't go to the handsome young man's show that night because she had cried so much that it made her face look horrible & she didn't want the handsome young man to see her like that. The girl told the handsome young man later that night about the events that happened earlier that day & they decided to meet up.

The handsome young man came to her school the following week. The two sat outside together, talking & flirting with one another. The girl & the handsome young man grew closer & closer as the week passed. They met up a few more times just to hang out, and then they went on their first date. The handsome young man took the girl way up in the mountains one Friday night. They sat on top of his truck and looked at the stars & the young man had made her a CD that they listened to. The two talked as they gazed over the mountain top down upon the waters & scenery. Then there was a moment between them where their eyes met & they both leaned in for their first kiss. The kiss was so passionate & magical. After the most wonderful date the girl had ever been on she went home to tell her parents all about the wonderful young man she had met.

That following weekend the girl saw the balding young man to see how she still felt about him, it was very obvious that she was not in love with him or she wouldn't be having such strong feeling for the handsome young man. Later that night she told the balding young man that they were over & she was sorry. Even though the balding young man had been so understanding before, he went completely psycho over this news. He started trying to cause problems for the girl & the handsome young man. He made many threats & stalked the girl at school. He called the girl one minute crying then another minute cussing her.

One day the girl went down to stay with the handsome young man in the city where he lived. She met all of his friends & they were so great, she didn't like hardly any of her now ex boyfriend's friends. Everything was going so great. She loved staying in her new boyfriend's house with everyone. That night the girl & the boy made love for the first time. It was just as spectacular as their first kiss. After everything that had happened the girl knew there was no turning back now.

The girl's ex boyfriend continued to obsess over the whole situation, he even tried to start a fight with the girl's new boyfriend. The ex boyfriend's behavior continued on for about 6 months. The girl was so tired of dealing with him. Even almost a year later the ex boyfriend sent the girl a pathetic email trying to get her back, but the girl didn't even bother to respond. The girl was so happy & content with the handsome young man, she knew he was her special someone. He brought her flowers every time he saw her, he sent her daily emails, & called her throughout the day. He was the best thing that had ever happened to her.

At first the girl only got to see the young man on the weekends because they lived in different cities, but their love grew stronger day by day. After the girl graduated, she lived with the young man most of the summer. After summer the girl went to a technical school & after a few months she graduated from the technical school & found a job in her field in the same city the young man lived in.

The young man & the girl became engaged & he moved in with the girl. That year they traveled to many places, places the girl had never been. She loved that the young man liked to travel because she loved traveling also. That winter the couple got married. They had a beautiful wedding & it was the best moment in both the young man's & girl's life.

The girl had moved on to a new career & the young man decided to go back to school to get a bachelor's degree so he could make enough money someday to allow him & the girl to have anything they could ever want or need. The next year the girl & the young man traveled to more & more places, life couldn't have been going any better. That year the young man & the girl celebrated their one year wedding anniversary & it was so wonderful.

The girl & the young man are still together today & they are still very much in love. They both wish they would have found each other sooner because it would have saved them dating horrible people & doing things they would regret. They are so happy to have found one another that they both know that no one can stand in the way of their love, that is a fact! They had to overcome a psycho ex boyfriend, living in two separate places, the young man's parents being hesitant to the wedding, & other things, but they did overcome all of it & now they are together until death do them part.

This is a true story, nothing is made up or exaggerated. I hope you enjoyed the story about a part of my life that had very interesting times & very wonderful & unforgettable times. I would like to dedicate this blog to the one who saved me over 3 years ago, my love, my life, my knight in shining armor, Daniel Kyle Sewell. I love you Daniel.

    More Pictures & Life

Well, as you can tell from my headline I am doing more pictures.  I have SMS scheduled for Jan. 26th, Jackson City for Feb. 2nd, & Rousseau for Feb. 5th.  I  haven't rescheduled with Breathitt. Now that my schedule is so full I really can't for Valentine's Day pictures.  Maybe I will try them again later in the beginning of Spring.  I could do pictures outside then.  Other than that life has been good.  I have decided that I am going to start taking online classes in summer toward an associates degree in Dental Hygiene.  I have to take online classes until Daniel gets out of school, which will be Spring of 2008.  He was going to be done this year, but UK added more class requirement to his degree.  The reason I am choosing Dental Hygiene is because the average start off pay in Lexington, KY is about $60,000 a year.  Here is the link if you don't believe me:http://swz.salary.com/salarywizard/layoutscripts/swzl_compresult.asp?narrowcode=HC02&jobcode=HC07000037&metrocode=93&
    metro=Lexington&state=Kentucky&geo=Lexington,%20Kentucky&jobtitle=Dental%20Hygienist&narrowdesc=Healthcare%20--%20Technicians

That's pretty darn good for an associates degree.  I already have 10 credit hours that I can put towards my degree from Lees.  I already have my English 101 &102 done & I took Art, which counts as a humanities toward my degree.  I am going to take online classes through LCC here in Lexington, then after Daniel graduates I will probably either work at the bank part time so I can go to class 2 or 3 days a week, or maybe I'll just quit the bank & go to school full time.  I can take about 11 classes online at LCC, I can probably find more from other schools that I could transfer over, but that should keep me busy until Daniel can graduate & find a job.  Plus I have plenty of time at work to work on online classes.  I still like working for the bank, but I really just want to go to school & make more money.  Plus most Dental Hygienist work really great hours.  From the jobs I've seen in KY, you are off weekends & at certain places even Fridays.  The hours are great, they close at like 4:00.  Basically what you do is clean teeth & diagnose gum diseases.  You can work for a dentist, a clinic, or even teach other dental hygiene students.  In most cities you always see the dental hygienist first, then the only time you will see the dentist is if you require to have more than just a cleaning done.  So now you know all about dental hygiene.  I guess I will wrap this blog up since it is getting longer & longer.  See ya!

    SMILE!!!

I couldn't tell you how many times the word "smile" came out of my mouth this past week.  As you probably know we just got done doing picture for some of the schools in Breathitt Co.  BHS ended up canceling on us because their principal said he had been so busy that he never got time to send home the order forms for the pictures &  he asked us if we could come on Wednesday.  Of course we couldn't because I had to take off from my regular bank job to do the pictures & I had taken off Tuesday for them not Wednesday.  We really weren't all that disappointed that BHS canceled because we didn't get completely finished with LBJ, so it allowed us to go finish LBJ's pictures.  I have to say that doing all that work really wore me out.  My feet & legs hurt so badly after it was all over.  We have already been invited to come back to the schools next year.  We also have now been asked to do SMS, Rousseau, & Jackson City's pictures.  Breathitt wants to reschedule, but I'm not sure if I can.  We will see.  You can look at some of the Valentine's pictures we took on our website which is www.freewebs.com/sewellphotography.  Other than all that stuff going on, the New Year has been great!  On New Year's Eve Daniel & I went and watched Eragon.  It was a pretty good movie, but it leaves you hanging for a sequel.  We brought in the New Year with a big smacking kiss!  Christmas was also great, I got everything & more that I could have asked for.  We also had an awesome time in Indianapolis.  The Colts beat the Bengals, of course!  We ended up going down to Indianapolis a day early.  We were so glad we did.  We really had a wonderful one year anniversary!  I won some money at the Christmas party we went to, it made the drive all they way to Pineville worth while.  I guess that pretty much as much as I can update everyone on.  I have some pictures I need to upload

    Business is Booming!

Things have been going really good lately!  Our new dog Trace is doing well.  He gets along great with Autumn & Pooie.  Sewell Photography has some great upcoming jobs that should rake in lots of dough.  So far I am doing Valentine's Day Pictures for 4 Breathitt Co. Schools.  I am waiting for SMS to have a site base council meeting about it, then I will know if they want to participate.  I am waiting for Rousseau's principal to get over her illness and then I should hear from her.  I am supposed to check back with Jackson City this coming week.  The one's I did get are Highland-Turner, LBJ, Marie-Roberts, & Breathitt High School.  I am doing HTS on Jan. 4th, MRC on Jan. 5th, LBJ on Jan. 8th, & BHS on Jan. 9th.  The reason I am doing them so early is because I want them to get their pictures back by Valentine's Day.  I scheduled them all together so I wouldn't have to make a bunch of trips home to Jackson & those are the only days Daniel can help me right now because he starts UK again on Jan. 10th.  If I get the other schools I don't know if he will be able to miss class to help me.  If he can't I will just have to get someone else to help out, which would probably be my mother-in-law Sandi or my dad Jim.  I am really excited about everything!  I did the Jackson City Cheerleaders pictures on Dec. 2nd & everything went really well.  The pictures turned out very pretty.  I made way more money than I ever expected that I would.  We finally hired someone new at the bank I work for to fill in my old position, so now I won't be doing my old and new job.  Daniel & I will be attending my bank's Christmas party in Pineville Dec. 16th.  He is wearing his new black tux with a dark red tie & I am wearing a beautiful red dress.  They give away large cash prizes, so I hope we will win one!  Dec. 17th is our one year wedding anniversary!  We are going to go watch the Colts play the Bengals in Indianapolis on Dec. 18th, which means it's a Monday Night Football game.  We are going to stay overnight.  That should about cover everything for now.  Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

    Another baby!!!

Well, we got another baby.  It's a little boy.  He is a toy parti poodle.  He has a white body, with a black patch on his right side, then his head is black, but he has silver around his eyes and nose & mouth.  He is beautiful.  He will get no bigger than 5-7 lbs.  Here is a link for you to see his pictures.  http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/ambercombs86/album?.dir=6c4are2&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/ambercombs86/my_photos

Other than that exciting news, I have more exciting news.  Brittany Gwin has asked me to take pictures of her 24 Jackson City cheerleaders.  I am taking them on December 2nd at 1:00 p.m.  I am so excited!!!  We are going to take a group picture & an individual picture for each cheerleader.  I am using a white background & I have picked out a really cute pose.  I have decided that I am going to wait until January to go talk to the principals at the Breathitt Co. Schools, due to some things going on at the bank.  We are currently looking for some new people to fill in some positions, one is my current position because I have been promoted to another position.  After I talk to the principals and give them my letter from the superintendent Arch Turner, I think I will try and do their pictures in Feburary.  I was thinking of Valentines Day pictures.  That's just what I have in mind right now, not sure if that's what will end up happening.  I guess we'll see, until next time.

    Back From Tennessee

I'm back from Tennessee.  We sure had a blast.  The cabin we stayed in was very nice & we decided it was our favorite so far.  We went horseback riding, we played mini golf twice, we went to an arcade, and we went to an exotic animal place.  While we were at the cabin we just chilled in the hot tub, and got in the jacuzzi in the bedroom, we played Monopoly (I won!), we grilled out, Daniel played pool, & we watched a little TV.  We went out twice for dinner, once to Cracker Barrel and once to TGI Fridays, then we went out once for breakfast at IHOP.  We also bought a crap load of fudge, it was very yummy!  We took a ton of pictures, which you can see if you go to my photos page.  Today makes 10 months that Daniel & I have been married.  I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband.  I can't imagine spending my life with anyone else.  I officially accepted the new accounts position at the bank I work for here in Lexington.  I am now opening all different types of accounts, Certificate of Deposits, IRA's, and I am running the proof (that sorts through all the bank documents to check for errors and other things).  The best part is I will get a pay increase, that will be nice.  Things with Sewell Photography are coming along, everything is done, I just have to actually go to the schools now and take the pictures.  I recently changed my hair color back to my natural color, which is brown, you will see it in our pics from Tennessee.  Most people have seemed to like it.  When I first got it done Daniel kept saying he felt like he was cheating on me with a different girl lol.  He's so silly.  I stopped by the Heritage Fair a couple weekends ago while we were in Jackson.  I saw a few people that I hadn't seen in forever.  Daniel ended up playing in a Madden tournament and we were there until 1:30 in the morning, he won the championship.  I knew he would, he's always been really good at games, plus he's had lots of practice at Madden let me tell ya.  Well, that's basically it for now.  Till next time.

    Sewell Photography

I officially own Sewell Photography.  I went to the County Clerk's office a couple weeks ago and got my DBA.  No one else can have a business named Sewell Photography but me.  I have ordered my business cards, made my letter heads, and Daniel made my website, the only thing left is opening a business account which I can do here at the bank I work for.  Go check it out at www.freewebs.com/sewellphotography.  It's not even close to being finished, but it's a start.  Only a few of the links work.  Now that everything is together I guess I can go ahead and let the cat out of the bag and tell everyone exactly what I'm doing.  I am going to be coming to the Breathitt Co. School systems and taking individual pictures, buddy pictures, group pictures, and couple pictures.  I am really excited to see how I do and how much money I can make.  My Dad and my husband Daniel are going to be my helpers.  My family and friends have got the treat of being my practice people.  Well I thought I would share that with everyone.  Feel free to tell me what you think about it or tell me what you think of my website.

Other than that Daniel has been getting into flying model airplanes, we have been going to a park here in Lexington and flying the planes.  Our dogs try to chase the planes while they are in the air, it's so funny to watch them.  Daniel & I rented a cabin in October in Tennessee, I'm so excited about going.  Since we have been together this is our 3rd cabin we will have stayed at in Tennessee.  We both love the cabins there.  This one looks like it will be the nicest one yet.  It has a hot tub outside on a very secluded porch & a Jacuzzi inside in the bedroom, it all sounds very romantic.  Here is a link if anyone is interested in looking at it http://patriotgetaways.com/propdetails/1-182.html

The Heritage Fair is coming up in Jackson.  I guess we may stop by and check it out.  I know that the Honey Festival sure wasn't much this year.  It's good to get out and see people though.  It's always fun to run into old friends.  I always enjoy the food too.  Well, that's all for now.  Thanks for reading.

    Trip to Amelia Island, FL

Well Daniel & I just got back from a trip we took to Amelia Island, FL.  We left on July 20th & stayed until the 25th.  We stayed in the 4 story condo that me, Daniel, & Len stayed in back in 2004.  It has 3 bedrooms, all w/ lofts & bathrooms.  It has 2 balconies, a kitchen, living room, dining room, sitting room, & a laundry room.  It is very nice.  Plus it's right on the beach, & it has a private pool & tennis courts.  We went to the private pool every single day & we went out and boogie boarded out in the ocean. Daniel was really good at riding the waves in. We went out a few times to eat & we played mini golf, which was super fun! I got two hole in ones & Daniel only got one, ha ha! Me, Daniel, & Key made up a really fun game in the pool called Tooth & Nail. Key would throw 3 tennis balls & me & Daniel had to pretty much kill each other to get them, we lost one of the balls, so then to win you had to get both. Daniel won that game, the score was 10 to 8, I almost beat him. We really did have an awesome time.  I have two new picture slide shows, one is of the trip to Amelia the other is our professional wedding pictures, which I have been waiting on since the wedding, well I finally have them.  Enjoy!

A New Addition To The Family!

This past Saturday, Daniel & I decided that we should get another dog so our dog Pooie wouldn't be so lonely while we aren't home.  So we got on www.petfinder.com & found a dog.  We drove all the way up to Falmouth, KY to get the little baby.  She is a beautiful terrier mix.  We decided to name her Autumn.  She is only about 1 to 1 1/2 years old.  She is a very well mannered dog.  She doesn't bark very much & she obeys very well.  She is so skinny right now, you can feel her backbone & her ribs.  We have been trying to fatten her up.  She was also very dirty when we got her, we bathed her the night we got her & made her look so much better.  Autumn & Pooie aren't quite best buds yet, but hopefully in time they will be the best of friends.  Right now they just sniff each other, & they are both a little bit jealous of each other.  I hope everything works out with our new doggie.  There are some pics of her below, just click on the links.

    Trip to Mammoth Cave

Daniel & I just took a camping trip to Mammoth Cave.  We left on April 13th & came back on the 16th.  I have added some pictures of the cave we went in called The Frozen Niagara. I really liked camping.  It was my first real camping experience.  Our tent was really spacious and we had a really comfortable air matress.  We cooked on Daniel's propane stove & over the camp fire we built.  My favorite thing was the Smores we made.  They were so yummy.  The Frozen Niagara was really awesome.  It was a 2 hour tour.  I would totally recommend everyone to go and see one of the caves at Mammoth Cave.  Well I hope you enjoy the pictures.  Ttyl.

    Spring Break

Spring Break was GREAT!!!  I have uploaded some pics if you would like to look.  We went to North Port, Florida and stayed with Daniel's Uncle Charles (owner of the KY Explorer Magazine) & Aunt Donna.  We really had such a wonderful time.  It was very nice and hot everyday.  Charles & Donna lived in a community where you had to have code entry, so it was kinda in it's own little world.  They had a clubhouse that had shuffle board courts, a pool, and they would play cards and things inside and have different events.  We would ride our bikes down to the pool about everyday.  I would ride Donna's little 3 wheeled bike down because it had a basket we could put our towels and stuff in.  Shuffle board was really fun also.  One night we played in an Omaha poker tournament.  We went to the beach 3 times and had a blast all 3 times.  We went to the movies one night and watched "The Hills Have Eyes".  Charles & Donna took us out every night to super expensive restaurants, but they were so nice and payed for it all.  At one place we ate at called the Gulf View Grill, a plate of grouper (a local fish) was $20 a plate.  One day we went and played 36 holes of put put golf.  We went canoeing on the bay and then went and saw some baby alligators.  We saw some turtles, birds, and black snakes also.  I found my 1st shark's tooth on the beach on our last day there.  It was really a wonderful trip and we will defiently be going back.

    Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!  This year for Valentine's Day I got 2 dozen red & white roses delivered to me at work.  Tonight Daniel and I will be going out to dinner and we bought an intimate board game called "Paradise Island" that we will be playing tonight, fun fun!  Daniel got a wireless mouse for his laptop from me, he has really enjoyed it.  Last year for Valentine's Day I got glass roses.  Daniel is always so good at getting gifts.  I think the one of the best gifts he ever got me was a scrap book he had made that had all the different dates and places we had been to.  When I first met him he got me a beautiful blue butterfly belly button ring.  Then a few months later he got me a brand new Dell computer because he knew I needed a new computer to run the Sims 2, my all time favorite game.  He has gotten me plenty of other gifts, but those are the ones that stand out in my mind the most.  I have such a wonderful and thoughtful husband, I love him so much.  We are going to Florida for his spring break, I will probably write again when we return from that trip.  I'm looking forward to it.  Toodles!

    Honeymoon

Today makes exactly one month that Daniel and I have been married.  Things are going great.  Daniel's back in school and I'm back to work of course, that's where I'm writing from right now.  Our honeymoon was such a nice trip.  Our cabin was very nice, along with the hot tub.  We weren't actually supposed to arrive until Jan. 2nd, but Daniel was so anxious to go we left on the 1st New Years Day and got a hotel room.  On our trip this time we went to Ripley's Old McDonald Mini Golf which was a blast, Ripley's Haunted Mansion, Ripley's Museum, Fed some black bears which was really sad due to their living state, went on a Jurassic Park ride which was such a rip off, and my most favorite thing we did was horseback riding.  It was somewhat cold when we went horseback riding, but super fun.  It's was a 3 mile trail that went up into the mountains, it was a one hr. ride.  It was only me, Daniel and our guide along w/ our horses, Daniel's horse name was Delaware and I had the horse named Kentucky, totally by accident.  I can't remember what the guide's horse name was but his name was Denver.  There was also a petting zoo at the horse farm.  There was a cute little goat there that I really loved, and a crazy looking goose that was in love with me.  It would follow me everywhere and make a honking noise at me. We ate out a few times at some really yummy places and the rest of the time we cooked yummy meals at the cabin.  It was really nice to just get away and be with someone you love.  We are thinking of taking a trip in March on Daniel's spring break to Florida to see his Uncle Charles, which means we get to stay somewhere free, can't beat that.  Well, it's been nice blogging.  Chow!

    Christmas

I would just like to say I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and I hope everyone has a Happy New Year.  I had a very good Christmas.  I got lots of dress clothes for work and Daniel's parents got me a new coat that I love, they also got me a big Vera Bradley Duffel Bag and a Vera Bradley purse and tons of stocking stuffers.  Daniel got a digital camera, clothes, a tent, and a sleeping bag, and some other things I can't remember.  Now I'll have to go camping.  My favorite part of Christmas was the food, it was so super good.  I love the holidays.  I probably won't write again until after the new year since I will be going to Breathitt Co. on New Years then leaving for Tennessee on January 2nd and I will be gone till January the 8th and won't be back to work till the 10th which is when I blog because I have nothing better to do.  So talk to you then.

    Till Death Do Us Part

That's right it's official I am Amber Sewell.  I have uploaded a whole bunch of photos, take a look.  Those are not the professional photos of course those are all just pictures taken by guest.  If you take time to look at the pictures you will see that the wedding went well.  I am so happy.  Daniel has become even more loving and sweet since we've been married.  Our night at the Hyatt was wonderful, the hotel sent us a bottle of champagne to our room.  We stayed on the 12th floor.  The whole back wall of our room was a window that looked down upon the city, the city lights at night we're beautiful.  I will spare you the rest of the details of the wedding night.  Our actual honeymoon isn't until January 2nd-8th.  I can't wait for that.  The wedding was beautiful, everyone had a really good time.  My advice to future brides is try your best not to get stressed out, it is supposed to be the happiest day of your life, things will seem as if everything is falling apart and going wrong, but they do come together and everything turns out perfectly.  The most important thing to remember is you are there to marry the love of your life and it doesn't matter what happens as long as you get to spend the rest of your life with that person.  I am so excited about mine and Daniel's future together and since we've been married he has told me everyday how glad he is that he married me and that he can't imagine being with anyone else.  I will go ahead and end this blog entry and I will write later on about mine & Daniel's life together.  Everyone have a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!!!
